100% Organic.

Use as a one-for-one natural sugar substitute (e.g. one teaspoon of Betta Sweet equals one teaspoon of sugar).

Now you can have a great tasting natural sweetener while avoiding problems with sugar consumption and artificial sweeteners.

Betta Sweet is a totally natural sweetener that tastes and looks like sugar, but without the calories.

What is Betta Sweet Made From?

We blend two natural low-calorie plant sweeteners, erythritol and stevia extract, to make the perfect sugar substitute. Erythritol has been part of the human diet for thousands of years. It is found in a wide range of foods that include fruit, vegetables, grain, even grapes and wine.  The leaves of the stevia plant are naturally sweet and havea  long history of use as a natural sweetener.  Both our erythritol and stevia come from non-GMO plants.

The sweetest component of stevia, and the component with no bitter after-taste, is called Rebaudioside-A. The higher the concentration of Rebaudioside-A in purified stevia the higher the quality of the sweetness.

World's purest, sweetest, stevia.  We purify our stevia extract by repeatedly crystallizing it from our own organic alcohol which we make here on site. Our purified stevia is 99% Rebaudioside-A (by independent analysis) making it the purest stevia extract you can buy. Try it and you will taste the difference.

Gluten free. No artificial additives. No preservatives, colouring agents or fillers.

Where can you use Betta Sweet?

You can use Betta Sweet most places that you use sugar. In hot and cold drinks (e.g., tea, coffee, fruit juices, soft drinks), in cooking and baking, and in confectionaries.  Compared to sugar Betta Sweet can actually improve the quality and freshness of taste of many foods.

Is Betta Sweet suitable for diabetics?

Yes. Betta Sweet does not change blood sugar levels or insulin levels (zero Glycemic Index and zero Glycemic Loading) therefore it is ideal for diabetics. Betta Sweet is also great for anyone wishing to lower their sugar, carbohydrate or energy consumption.

Is it true that Betta Sweet does not promote tooth decay?

Yes. Harmful oral bacteria cannot use Betta Sweet as an energy source. Consequently Betta Sweet is non-cariogenic, meaning it will not promote tooth decay or cavity formation.

What are the weight management benefits of Betta Sweet?

Combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise Betta Sweet can be an effective aid to weight management. As an all-natural sugar substitute Betta Sweet effectively lowers carbohydrate consumption resulting in a lower energy diet. Betta Sweet does not raise insulin or blood sugar levels. Consequently with more stable insulin levels you do not get that burst of energy followed by fatigue, so you are less likely to crave sugar or other energy foods.

Using Betta Sweet instead of Sugar

Posted by Gwendoline Callaghan on 5th Mar 2015

I particularly like its ability to replace sugar in terms of adding to recipes, and making biscuits and cakes. Creating an icing sugar would be fantastic if the elves can magic this up! Then I could make Carrot Cake with the cream cheese icing which would be truly guilt free. I CANNOT believe no enlightened commercial cafes who sell baked products have not added a "sugar free" range - especially boutique operators like Wishbone - I tell them every time I go there. Why no sugar free restaurant desserts? I would happily pay a bit extra. A packet of betta sweet will be my 2015 gift of choice for all my enlightened friends and family who appreciate the evils of sugar. Thank you!!!!

Betta Sweet Natural Sweetener is better then sugar

Posted by J9 and Tainui on 29th Aug 2014

I started using Betta Sweet Natural Sweetener because my 6 yr old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and having been a chef for 25 years i used to bake the most amazing cakes, desserts, etc and i felt really bad that i could not make such things anymore as it would not be fair on my son. Now i have found Betta Sweet i can now cook until my heart is content and everyone gets the benifit of no sugar and alot healthier food. I also used in my curries, meat dishes, basically anywhere i used normal sugar before and you would not know the difference.Great product, shame more commercial kitchens did not use it.

I have tried other similar sweeteners but this is by far the nicest I have tried. I used to by it at my local health shop but they were unreliable and so switched to ordering directly online. Not only is the product great, the service has been too. Thanks
